After working as an information technology specialist with Crete Professionals Alliance for three years, Tristan Persaud was hired by Vital Tech Consulting as an information technology consultant. In this position, Tristan Persaud provides remote assistance, virtual private network (VPN) services, and operational support. His other responsibilities include managing Citrix Desktop deployment, creating and maintaining Knowledge Base documents, and overseeing accounting and financial product software. Mr. Persaud is also responsible for providing support for Windows and Android/iOS devices, training employees, and managing Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Azure.
Mr. Persaud has ample experience with technical support, system administration, and network troubleshooting. He has established a track record of diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network problems efficiently, and doing so promptly to reduce disruption to productivity. As part of providing technical support, he has worked on teams to improve system performance and maintain security and compliance standards.
Mr. Persaud enjoys finding ways to use technology to increase efficiency and improve business operations. His professional interests within IT include researching evolving technology. His education and training include two bachelor’s degrees: one in accounting information systems from CUNY Queens College and the other in business administration with a focus on management information systems from Southern New Hampshire University. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, setting up computers and peripherals, building with Legos, and playing hockey and the guitar.
